Know where everything is
Intendant is a local-first app for tracking where your physical things live — rooms, cabinets, shelves, and boxes — so you spend less time searching and more time using what you already own.
Add items with a short name and optional notes, assign them to a place in your storage hierarchy, and find them later with full-text search that works entirely on your device.
Print QR or Data Matrix labels for locations, or write an NFC tag, and open them with a scan or a tap to see what belongs there. Camera scanning and NFC are built in; no extra download is required for barcodes, labels, or tags.
Optional cloud sync keeps your vault on a secure server so you can restore it after reinstall or use the same inventory on another phone — sign in with Google or Apple when you enable sync. Your data stays local-first; sync is off until you turn it on.
Once sync is on, share a place with someone else using an invite code or QR — they get editor access to that place and everything inside it, so a garage, shed, or shelf can be organized together without merging your whole inventories.
When you want more, optional on-device AI packs unlock voice input, smarter semantic search, and helpers that suggest locations — without sending your inventory to third-party AI clouds.
The app is designed to keep working offline and without AI models. Speech, embeddings, and language models improve the experience only after you choose to install them.
Intendant is built by Compoza as a practical lab product: clear screens, graceful fallbacks, and privacy-minded defaults for everyday home and workshop storage.
