Acceptance

By using Intendant you agree to these draft terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

The service

Intendant is a local-first item location tracker. Core features work without an account. Optional cloud sync (Google or Apple sign-in) backs up your vault to our sync server for restore and multi-device use.

Your content

You retain ownership of item and location data you enter. You are responsible for lawful use of the app.

Cloud sync

If you enable cloud sync, encrypted vault credentials and inventory changes are stored on our sync infrastructure so you can restore or share access across your devices. Sync is optional and can be turned off.

On-device AI

Optional speech, embedding, and language models run on your device when you install them. They are not required for basic use.

Third-party cloud services

Cloud AI is optional, off by default, and points at an endpoint you choose and configure yourself. When you enable it you consent to sending the text you enter or dictate to that third party. Those services are operated by others, not by us: we do not control them, do not endorse them, and are not a party to your agreement with them. We accept no responsibility or liability for their availability, accuracy, cost, security, or for what they do with data you consented to send — that is governed by their own terms and privacy policy, and any claim about it lies with them. You are responsible for choosing a provider you trust, for the API key you supply, and for any charges it incurs.
